How We Check Every Guide

Families deserve information they can trust. Every guide on Autism Learning Guide goes through the same steps before it is published.

Our steps

  • Write: a draft is written in plain English for parents and caregivers.
  • Check the sources: each fact is checked against the research or guidance it comes from, and the sources are listed.
  • Editor review: our editor reads every guide for accuracy, tone and clarity.
  • Professional review (coming soon): we are looking for a qualified clinician to review guides on health, development and therapy topics. Until then, these guides stay close to published guidance and list every source.
  • Publish and update: we show the date each guide was last checked and update it when the evidence changes.

What we never do

  • Promise cures or recommend unproven treatments
  • Publish made-up reviews or testimonials
  • Give medical, diagnostic or therapy advice about your child

Use of AI tools

We may use AI tools to help with first drafts, summaries or images. A person checks every guide before it is published, and no guide is published without human review.
